Their English fluency and grammatical/linguistic knowledge of both languages allow them to explain Spanish grammar by comparing/contrasting with English grammar. I cannot count on two hands the number of “lightbulb” moments I experienced throughout the course simply because my coaches were able to explain things in a different way than teachers have in the past. Every single Fluenz coach and staff-member I met on the trip is a unique, fascinating, and “genuine” person. They’re all really cool people in their own special way. Further, I was impressed by the fact that the Fluenz team monitored each student’s progress on a class-by-class basis. It’s my understanding that, in between classes, the Fluenz team meets and discusses how each student is progressing. They then make adjustments to the material and methodology to help the students learn more effectively.”

“Yes, immersion and intense are words often used to describe the Fluenz program. But the word that I think of that they don’t mention enough is fun. The staff, los maestros, are the neatest, nicest people that you possibly imagine–they make learning fun! For me it was the relationships that I was able to establish with the Fluenz staff that really made the difference, resulting in a wonderful, never to be forgotten experience.”
