“This was my second on-site immersion with Fluenz, and they continue to deliver exceptionally high quality experiences throughout every aspect of the trip. The language coaches are professional, personable, and kind, and customize the curriculum as you go, so you’re always learning what is appropriate for your own personal advancement. The restaurants are trendy and high end (which is great if you’re a foodie), and the hotels always well appointed and chic. From the moment you land until the moment you depart you are 100% taken care of. I’d say they go above and beyond in that department! The field trips are always a highlight, usually involving an after-hours private tour of some amazing cultural attraction that would otherwise be crowded. If you’re looking for customized top-quality language instruction as part of a high end travel experience, Fluenz is the go-to. I consider them the Backroads of language instruction!”

“The primary purpose of this trip was to have a Spanish immersion experience. I travel and teach internationally and want to expand my communication ability. My husband joined me as a non-participant to enjoy the extracurricular events of this trip. Fluenz has an extremely detailed and organized approach to teaching/learning and I benefited greatly during my week with them. Our accommodations in Oaxaca were superb, the food was amazing, and the private excursion to the ruins of Monte Alban (yes, the entire location had been reserved for our private Fluenz group) was outstanding. Not only would I return to Oaxaca with Fluenz, I am definitely going to sign-up for another Spanish immersion for early next year.”

“The Fluenz Spanish Immersion course was exceptional. First, to comment on the educational experience–There were a total of 12 students with varying levels of Spanish proficiency in my cohort. What I most appreciated was that the instructors tailed my lessons and the curriculum to my specific needs and level. Thus, the week in Oaxaca allowed me to advance significantly in my comprehension and ability to converse in Spanish. Our instructors were extremely well-trained professionals who exhibited passion in teaching Spanish. They connected well with every student in my group. Second, Fluenz created a very special environment for participants. Dinners took place in the best restaurants in Oaxaca, a city known for its culinary scene. One of the best dinners that I have ever was on the last night of our program at a restaurant called Criollo. We were served seven imaginative courses, many with beautiful moles and sauces from the region. Also, Oaxaca is a safe city. I felt comfortable walking around in the day and night, taking in the many interesting boutiques, talleres (workshops of artisans), restaurants. The only concern that I have about Oaxaca is that many of the sidewalks have uneven payment due to tree roots, etc. Hence, I recommend being attentive while walking to avoid falls. I plan to take another immersion course with the Fluenz team in the next 12 months, most likely in Mexico City. I strongly recommend this program to anyone who is interested in accelerating your journey in learning Spanish. It does not matter whether your level is beginner, intermediate or advanced–the coursework will be matched to your abilities.”

“Oaxaca is just as amazing as all of the profesors with Fluenz. The accomodations are fabulous, the Oaxacan food is amazing, and best of all Fluenz provided me with the most comprehensive and wonderful Spanish classes. I plan to return to Oaxaca again for another immersion sometime. The restaurant experiences are so fantastic, it is unbelievable. All of my profesors are the most interesting and fun personalities to work with and learn from. I can’t say enough about them and Fluenz.”
