“I flew into CDMX on Sunday afternoon and was pleased with how quickly I passed through customs. Immediately upon landing, I received a WhatsApp message from a Fluenz team member advising that my private driver would be waiting for me right outside of customs. I collected my luggage, met my extremely friendly driver, and was immediately driven to the hotel. The hotel we stayed at was absolutely wonderful. The Fluenz language-immersion program consisted of two, two-hour sessions per day, Monday through Friday. There was one “individual” session and one “group” session per day. In addition to the formal classes, the daily breakfasts/lunches at the hotel were an awesome opportunity to converse in Spanish with our coaches about “fun” topics—like literature and travel—rather than grammar and syntax. We also had a few nighttime excursions, including a small, guided museum tour; a reservation at a cool restaurant; and a tour of architectural and cultural landmarks. All was in Spanish, which of course adds to the immersive experience.”

“Breakfasts were at my leisure. Lunches were excellent and even better was the conversation at the lunch tables. The programs outside of the classes were exceptional and unique – dinner at Pujol for the group and other dinners arranged for all of us, a private tour of the Anthropology museum after hours/no crowds, a tour of the last residence designed by Louis Barragan, etc.”

“The program is thoughtfully organized with the perfect balance of classes, downtime and outings. The boutique hotel is charming, and easy walking distance to a myriad of restaurants and museums. The group activities are not run of the mill touristy outings; they are fantastic. A private tour of the Archeology Museum in Mexico City, and a multi-course taster menu at a world renown restaurant were highlights for me.”

“I felt so well taken care of by the entire Fluenz team from even before I registered and was just inquiring about trip details all the way through the week of my stay! The Spanish immersion lessons were great (twice daily/solo and in small groups) with different instructors so you had the opportunity to experience different teaching styles. And the “extras” were all amazing – the hotel we stayed at in Polanco was lovely, the meals were all delicious, and all the side trips/excursions made the entire stay worthwhile!”

“The Fluenz programming is exceptional, with qualified, smart, friendly and fluidly bilingual teachers and a busy but manageable schedule. They provide well-structured lessons, great outings and relaxed social opportunities for Spanish learners of every level. The Pug Seal Hotel is funky and well-located (great breakfasts; program’s lunches are ok), and there is lots to do in the Polanco area.”
