“I made the leap to join a Fluenz immersion by myself from San Francisco and could not have enjoyed it more. The team from Fluenz is so organized, everything is done and you simply get a text each night telling you what time your two sessions are and what the schedule is for the day. It was such a great mix of intensive Spanish lessons mixed with culture – for example, one night we had an amazing lecture on Mexican Politics and history, another night we went to the Anthropological museum on a private guided tour. I met the best people and gained a few friends that I will be in touch with and practice my Spanish with in the future. But…..the best part is the teachers, each day you rotate with different teachers based on your needs and style of learning and I just loved that aspect, kept me from getting bored, had some break-throughs and learned lots of tips and tricks from each one.”

“My husband and I recently returned from a Fluenz Spanish immersion course in Mexico City. It was truly an amazing week and I honestly cannot find even one criticism of it. The accommodation and the food at the charming boutique hotel were top notch and the location in Polanco couldn’t have been better. The structure of the program was first class: very organized with the perfect balance of learning, cultural and gastronomic experiences. I was a little concerned when we initially booked the trip because my husband is a total beginner (other than a little turista español) and I have been studying the language for 10 years. However, with the individualized instruction and small group sessions, this was not a problem and it turned out to be a fun week for us both. We both made incredible progress and for me it was just the boost I needed to unlock the ear/brain/mouth block that I had been experiencing. Every one of the instructors was knowledgeable, professional and compassionate and they were all very attuned to everyone’s individual needs.”

“This is not a trip that will make you fluent in Spanish in a week; that is impossible. However, it will push you further and make you think deeply about all the grammar and vocabulary you already know or that you learn while there. The lessons were intense at times, that is for sure. If you put a lot into it (before, during, and after), you will get a lot out of it. When you get there they will have someone to greet you at the airport, who will then take you to your driver. The trip to the hotel is about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. The hotel we stayed at, Pug Seal Anatole France, was charming and well situated in the Polanco area.”

Amanda describes the program structure: two hours of morning instruction and two hours in the afternoon, with sessions alternating between private coaching and small group work. She notes experiencing difficulty mid-week from the intensity, but the program’s adaptive approach helped her regain momentum. By departure, she conversed in Spanish with her driver throughout the airport journey and ordered food confidently.

“The Fluenz Spanish Immersion program I attended in Mexico City exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I signed on, Fluenz was there every step of the way with communications, scheduling, pre-arrival Zoom lessons to properly assess my language competency level, followed by an on-site highly personalized lesson schedule. Once I arrived for the program, I instantly felt part of a community that was with me every step of the way. In addition, the cultural evening activities are like having a front row seat to a number of exclusive events – a museum tour, an insightful lecture and a Michelin star restaurant dining experience.”

“The Fluenz Spanish Immersion program is a wonderful mixture of travel and learning. We worked on our Spanish before the trip using the Fluenz online software, which is well thought out and fun to use. The in person and zoom trainers are excellent. On top of improving our Spanish, we also visited delicious restaurants, museums, gorgeous architecture and learned about the political history of Mexico. We stayed in Polanco in a boutique hotel walking distance from class and food/shopping. I definitely would recommend this program. The people are wonderful and my Spanish is definitely improved!”

“This is a top notch, luxury program run by caring, professional, and deeply thoughtful people. I can’t imagine that learning Spanish could possibly be done in a better way. Such a great, special time in my life! Thank you to all the Fluenz instructors. The teacher to student ratio was amazing, like 9 teachers for 12 students; though you can pay extra for more one on one attention, there’s no need and I didn’t, each session was still highly tailored and intense! I’m going back, probably again and again, hope to see you there!”
